The homemade ravioli is amazing !! You can order it and eat it there or order it to take home to prepare. It's like a deli, mini Italian store, mini convience store, butcher shop. You can buy bags of chips, sour dough loaf breads, cheeses and a variety of bottled and canned drinks in fridges around the entire area. It has a butcher shop where you can buy deli meats and steaks and fish. Everyone is super sweet and helpful and friendly. Sometimes the line is long to order your food. At times it goes by quick. But either way it is worth the wait!

Finally got to try the food! 4.5 /5 Had pasta meatball dinner + soup Everything was great and taste like home made food .... Maybe Workers are friendly. Line sucks and parking sucks. About 45 min wait in line. 15min to find parking . Food took about 15min to come out Do not come if you are on time crunch! Also parking lot across the street has security guard entry to see if you are parking and walking across.

We drove up at 5:17! They closed at 5:00. One of the owners came out and asked what we wanted, meatball sandwiches of course. He cooked more meatballs as we waited and served us a half hour AFTER THEY CLOSED!! Who does that? Wonderful family business that we have been supporting from Salinas for the past 30 years! Be sure to say hello to the mom at the register!! She is still working and she’s older than me!! Incredible!!

After a great long walk exercise, we decided to have our lunch at this place, and we ordered Steak Sandwich, 1/2 BBQ Chicken, and a slice of Pistachio Cheese Cake. It seemed like this deli was always packed with long lines, and we waited perhaps more or less 20 minutes. It's pretty straightforward to order in front of what's available. And we managed to get a table while waiting for our turn to order. Having the food wasn't a long wait, and we thought that there was a great flavor for the sandwich; the chicken had a bit of overpowering flavor, and we did enjoy the Pistachio Cheesecake; we felt it fresh, we just didn't like it much of too strong not sure whether that's the essence from vanilla or pistachio that's almost killing the flavor of the pistachio and cheese. Overall, we were happy we visited and tried the food and dessert they offer.

I love going to restaurants that exceed your expectations and this is definitely one of those. As I was waiting in a long line to get to the counter to order my food, I changed my mind nothing short of a few times because of all the great plates I was seeing around me. Next time I go, I want to pick out the steak from the meat counter and have them cook it. The quantity is huge, the price is reasonable, and the service and food are great!
